Shanghai Trash Runners

The members of Shanghai Trash Runners run the streets of their city with tongs & bag in hand, cleaning up the garbage that accumulates in the massive metropolis of over 24 million. They’ve formed a warm community of like-minded individuals, and they often meet after-hours to run & clean the streets. For this photo essay, the Trash Runners met up with the Shanghai Adidas Runners, and the two crews joined for a nighttime run under the city lights.
